Be Cool Advertising · Last updated September 1, 2026
This policy explains what data Be Cool Advertising's internal software accesses, how it is stored, and who it is shared with. It covers our internal tools, including the application we use to connect to Google Workspace services.
Our internal tools are private, single-operator applications. They are used by Be Cool Advertising on our own business accounts. They are not distributed, not offered to the public, and have no other users. If you are not the operator of this business, these tools do not process any data about you through this application.
With the account owner's explicit consent through Google's standard OAuth screen, our internal tooling requests the following scopes:
gmail.modify — to read, search, draft, label, and send mail
in our own business mailboxes, so that outreach and replies can be
composed and tracked.
calendar — to read and create events on our own calendars,
for scheduling appointments and follow-ups.
userinfo.email — to confirm which mailbox was authorized, so
mail is never sent from the wrong account.
We request no other scopes. Access is limited to the accounts whose owner completed the consent screen.
Authorization credentials are stored in the macOS login Keychain on the operator's own computer. They are not transmitted to any server we run, and we operate no hosted backend that receives this data. Message and calendar content is read on demand from Google's API when a task requires it, and is not copied into any external database.
We do not sell, rent, or share Google account data with third parties. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train machine learning models. Data obtained through Google APIs is used only to operate the features described above, in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Credentials remain valid until they are revoked or expire. The account owner can revoke access at any time from Google Account permissions, which immediately ends the application's access. Locally stored credentials are deleted when access is revoked from within our tooling.
Separately from the Google integration, our advertising business collects contact information from people who submit inquiry forms in our campaigns. That information is used to qualify the inquiry and to connect the person with a real estate professional who can help them, which is the purpose for which it is submitted. We do not sell it for unrelated purposes. Anyone who wishes their information removed can contact us at the address below and it will be deleted.
